Dancing Magnets

¨ This activity supports SP4 in the sensory and planning section of the book.

¨ Useful for developing:

¨ Bilateral coordination, spatial awareness, visual tracking, and planning & organisation skills.

¨ Draw with a whiteboard marker directly on to a plastic surface such as a plain coloured plastic plate, or acrylic clipboard.

¨ Use disposable paper plates and create a permanent supply of alphabet letters to trace around

¨ Draw shapes, or child’s name for tracing around.

¨ Suspend a clipboard or Perspex sheet, top and bottom on pile of books leaving the mid section free, use the wand underneath.

¨ Useful as a standing up, hand held activity, helper hand holding the plate, worker hand manipulating the wand.
